I am truly blessed to create music. I spent years playing guitar in various bands  including touring with Multi-platinum rock band Shinedown, as well as producing and writing with other artists, owning recording studios, all the while building my desire to write my own songs. Recent years have taken me down a new path of creative discovery as a solo artist and set into motion my desire to connect with people, charged with a message of love, hope, and positive energy. 

My debut album "Goodlow" is representative of the early footsteps down this path and was an absolutely necessary step to arrive at my current place in life. Ive just launched the newest chapter in my story, Alan Price & The Modern Day. The new band began as  a studio collaboration with Jesse Triplett (Guitar) and Will Turpin (Bass Guitar) from Collective Soul, myself , and Drummer Thomas O'Brien. We made a record that we are very proud of and released our first 3 singles in 2023 along with videos for "Back to Carolina" and "Disappear". We also recruited new members Josh Mitchum (Guitar) and Jonathan Holt (Bass Guitar) and are working on a 3rd video for another single to be released in Spring 2024 while working towards tour dates and recording more new music.
