Alan Price is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Charleston, South Carolina. He is also frontman for the soulful rock band  'Alan Price & The Modern Day'.

Price spent his formative years touring as a guitarist for a number of bands including  rock band SHINEDOWN. 

In 2021, Price released his first full-length album "Goodlow" featuring 13 original tracks produced with various friends, and began playing 300+ shows each year as a solo performer. 

In 2022 and 2023 Price began writing and recording new music with drummer Thomas O'Brien and began a studio collaboration with Jesse Triplett (Guitar) and Will Turpin (Bass Guitar) from Collective Soul. In May 2023, "Back To Carolina"  was released as the first single and music video from 'Alan Price & The Modern Day'

Two months later 'Disappear' was released as a follow-up single and video and revealed the official lineup of APMD with the addition of bassist Jonathan Holt and guitarist Josh Mitchum. 'Marigold' was released as a third single and Lyric video and the full self-titled EP was released and only available as a physical CD in November 2023.
